After 21 years of working on continuous improvement in Manufacturing, Didier moved to healthcare. In 2012, he joined HealthEast Care System, which later merged with Fairview, as Lean Sensei. He formalized and deployed its Lean system while providing executive coaching.
 
In 2019, he joined Value Capture, an organization founded by Paul O'Neill assisting healthcare organizations to transform toward habitual excellence and perfect care. Serving as Vice President of Advisory Services, he guides the transformation of major healthcare organizations.

Didier founded Lean Management Systems in 2008 to share his knowledge and experience of operational excellence specialist with leaders from other organizations and industries. He has provided numerous workshops, presented to national and international conferences, and coached senior executives in principle base leadership to develop a continuous improvement culture with respect for every individual. He is also an instructor for Manufacturers Alliance, for the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), and the Shingo Lean Bronze certification class and associated exam.
 
Didier holds a Wood Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Nancy, France, a Business and Administration degree from the University of Perpignan, France, and a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France. He obtained Lean certificates from the University of Michigan, the University of Tennessee, Kellogg University, the Lean bronze certification from the Shingo Institute, and the 3P certification from Shingijutsu Global Consulting. He is a Shingo Alumni, a Shingo examiner, and a Shingo training facilitator.

Didier is the 27th recipient of the Institute of Industrial and System Engineer Honorary Member Award; the highest honor IISE grants an individual of acknowledged professional eminence who is not a member of the institute. Past recipients include Edwards Deming, Lee Iacocca, W. Von Braun, and President Herbert C. Hoover.

In 2023, PEX Network, selected Didier as one of the Top 50 thought leaders in operational excellence among people leading operational excellence around the world in 2023
